The 3rd Generation of The Sjaugi
On 23rd March 2010, 9:23 am in the morning, my lovely wife successfully delivered our first daughter at Putrajaya Hospital. She was 2.73 Kgs weight and 53 cm length. I was witnessing how my wife feel the pain and how my daughter was delivered. The process was pretty quick, just took three "pushes" then she born :) We named her "Arissa Karimah Sjaugi" which means "excellent and generous". Here is her picture when she was a day old:

By following what was directed by our Prophet Muhammad PBUH, we "cleaned" her born-hair and weight it then multiple with the price of gold, then donate the amount resulted to the poor. Yesterday, we bought her to Secret Recipe cafe nearby our house. She looked enjoy her first family outing :)

More and more stories will come after this...so, stay tune ;)

One year....

It's been almost a year since my last post in this blog. It looks like I haven't been caring much about my blog, but actually I do. It has just been very difficult for me to find the time to update my blog. Anyway let me review what I had been doing throughout the past year.
Finally I graduated from my Master studies with outstanding marks. Four publications throughout my Masters studies which is pretty good for me compared to 1-2 publication(s) in common. I also managed to present/publish my research findings both in local and international conferences, journal and exhibition. Below are some of my publications:
- Mobility models towards the performance of geographical-based route maintenance strategy in DSR
- Adaptive route maintenance strategy for dynamic source routing protocol
- A New Route Maintenance Strategy for Dynamic Source Routing Protocol
- A New Distance Based Route Maintenance Strategy for Dynamic Source Routing Protocol
Graduating from Master studies is my second best achievement. My first best achievement is when I got married with my lovely wife, Tengku Dian Shahida. We got married on 27th March 2009 in Malaysia. It was a memorable ceremony for both of us and our families. We met for the first time around two and half years ago when we were both pursuing our Master studies (in the same class :) ).

Now, I am working with Infocomm Development Center-Universiti Putra Malaysia. I work as research officer for Grid Computing Project. The project it self is supported by EUAsia Grid. Below are some pictures taken when I was in Taipei, Taiwan for EUAsia Grid closed meeting and presenting the current grid research progress in UPM.

That's some brief updates about what I was doing lately...hopefully I can find a time to keep updating my blog.
Ciao...
